Rideely (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a mobile application and related services for ride requests, shared trips, and driver operations. This policy explains how we process personal data when you use Rideely.

2. Data we may collect

• Account and profile: name, phone number, email if provided, language preference, profile photo, and driver verification documents when you apply as a driver.
• Location: approximate or precise location when you use location features (see our Location & background page).
• Trip and usage data: ride history, preferences, device type, app diagnostics, and support communications.
• Push notifications: device tokens used to deliver ride updates and account messages.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to create and secure your account, match rides, calculate routes and pricing where applicable, send notifications you expect (for example ride status), improve reliability and safety, comply with law, and respond to support requests.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on your region, we may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as fraud prevention and product improvement), consent where required (for example optional marketing or certain sensors), and legal obligation.

5. Sharing

We may share data with service providers who host our infrastructure, maps, messaging, or analytics — only as needed to operate Rideely and under appropriate agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and dispute resolution requirements. Some logs may be retained in shortened form for security.

7. Your rights

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can delete your account from the app; see Delete account for steps. For other requests, contact us using the support channel published in the app or store listing.

8. Children

Rideely is not intended for children below the minimum age required in your country to enter into contracts. We do not knowingly collect data from children in violation of applicable law.

9. International transfers

If we process data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Rideely after changes may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
